I Made the Sale Because of Extra Laptop Batteries
My sales territory encompasses four rather large states. I always bring extra laptop batteries whenever I travel because IEUR^(TM)m not always in a good place to recharge. On this particular sales call, I expected to make one Powerpoint presentation, so I didnEUR^(TM)t worry when I discovered IEUR^(TM)d left my power cord in the hotel room.
Unfortunately, one presentation turned into six to six different departments. When the battery started to run low right before my pitch to the top brass, I dug into my bag and came up with an extra battery. If I hadnEUR^(TM)t had it, I doubt I would have made the sale.
